MP370 12" Touch, how know if the original file is in memory

Is posible to obtein the file to edit. In this dialog you can determine and change the storage location of the back transfer file of the project under "Project Backup". 3. Open "My Computer" and in this view open the path read in Step 2. If you find a "SAVEDATA.PDZ" file there, you can start the back transfer from wincc flexible. Hope this helps, Kbv.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 11/7/2024 Posts: 14112 Rating: (1767)	Hello together you have a Panel and not a PC Runtime so the last Post won´t work on a Panel. With the Backup file of a PAnel you only could do a restore in a identical Panel. But you cannot use this files for changing the project. Therefore you need a .HMI and .ldf file. this are the WinCC flexible Profect files you need for configuring the Screens and so on. Is this what you are asking for. Bye Murof

Is it true or am I missing something? Please see this link Kbv.

Eng.SR Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello all, Compressed form of the source file. Can be transferred in addition to the project file to the corresponding HMI device. "Enable Backtransfer" must be set in the project on the configuration computer. The file extension of a compressed source file is *.pdz. The standard memory location for a compressed source file is the external MMC. Refer to Source file. To restore a source file, it is necessary to use the same WinCC flexible version which was used to configure the project. Almaqtari

This function was only rarely used. Bye Murof
