What changes need to make to the script for it to work in WinCC Flex 2008?

Yes, I will change this, so that only files are displayed, which can be directly shown in the browser (all graphics, html, pdf, txt)

2. if a pdf is viewed in the webbrowser object, you can easily get access to the full system.
Click on the Save-button in the top bar and the Save-dialog opens. From there, you have the
Windows Explorer and you can start any executable with a rightclick instead of saving the file.
Probably this can be changed by pdf viewer settings...

VERY GOOD that you found out that!!!!!Maybe this can be locked, yes. I stillt haven't tried, but I will!!

@allen23: When pdls migrated, to a newer version, they are no longer compatible with an older version.

Hi,

in my WinCC project I need to create some kind of file browser in which customer will be able browse some old reports (in pdf). So, on button action new window have to open, in which customer can only browse specific folder. So he will not be able to browse other folder, copy, etc. Generally I’m trying to find the way to that using VB script. First I tried to use windows explorer (using Shell) and as a result I can open folder but all menus in explorer are available. As I can understand there is no way to hide them. Also I tried to launch Internet Explorer to browse files because in Internet Explorer there is option to hide all menus and address bar (using script). Unfortunately when I execute VB script instead of Internet Explorer the Windows Explorer starts (!!!) and off course all menus related to the hiding of menus in Internet Explorer can’t be applied to Windows Explorer. Can someone tell why is Windows Explorer starting instead of Internet Explorer? Is this some kind of windows settings? I’m using IE 8.Does anyone have idea how can I perform this file browser option?Many thanks.RegardsAlen
