Hello cemo; IEC 61511 is a standard for Functional Safety- Safety Instrumented Systems; as such for any implementation of this it will refer to F-Systems (or Distributed Safety) and F-CPUs with F-I/Os. IEC 61511) Energize to Trip Requirement for SIL 3 according to IEC 61511 (Safety Manual) Wiring and Voting Architectures for failsafe Analog Input Modules (F AI) of the ET 200M The most important steps, as always with Functional Safety, is the Risk Assessment of the project and the determination of the required SIL levels to meet the conclusions of the assessment. Hello cemo; So basically you intend to develop an SIS application with a S7-400H CPU, non redundant, and without Safety CPU and I/Os, without a Safety program?
