The rated power can be caluclated by muliplying the nominal torque and the nominal speed. You already did this correctly: Pn = Mn * n_n * 2 * pi = 904Nm * 59rpm * 2 * pi = 5,59kW This value is based on Operation with an Active Line Module. I suppose that you configured your sizer Project with an Basic Line Module and therefore you can not reach this operation point. For BLM use the nominal power can be calculated as: Pn = Mn * n_n * 2 * pi = 899Nm * 49rpm * 2 * pi = 4,6kW This is most likely the reason why your calculated value and the value you recieved by using sizer were not the same.
You can use the same formula for your operation point: P_op = M_op * n_op * 2 * pi (Mechanical Power) You will additionally have to consider the losses of the motor to recieve the electrical power. Most parts of the losses will be thermal and therefore decisive for your calculation of the cooling system. But if you consider the configuartion manual you will find the necessary technical Information for your motor: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/103909320 (Chapter 9.2.6 -> pages 357, 358, 361) You are given the necassary size of the cooling system there. Additionally you will find a table with the technical information and curves for torque over speed - for use with ALM and BLM. |
