What are the advantages of using parameter instances?

Do you have experience about what are the advantages to using parameter instances?

Example if want to call FB that is made by graph inside another FB, TIA14 gives me two options. Single instance DB or parameter instance DB... what are the advantages in parameter instance DB?

it makes program tidy and you avoid using hundreds of instance DBs.

moreover, if each machine part is programmed in its own FB all od its private data can be stored in that FBs' interface (and its instance DB when called in OB1)
