TIA Portal V14 for sm@rt server

deepsr Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hello Experts, I have installed a SIMATIC panel KTP400 Basic and would want to implement the sm@rt server access at the HMI for remote control. Is it possible to implement in TIA portal V14 ? Does the program support Sm@rt server option for basic panels? PS. I am working now with TIA portal V13 and would want to know if I need V14 for sm@rt server option. Advices would be welcome. Thanks in advance!

The MLFB is 6AV2107-0CR00-0BH0 for the Download version In the Comfort Line of Panel Smart is included as off V14 BR. With a KTP400 Basic 1st generation its not possible to use the Smart Server. If you have a Project that is converted from V13 to V14 you also have to set the new Image for V14 in the HMI Project to use the SmartServer Option. Bye Murof

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 14127 Rating: (1770)	Hello deepsr ?? Basic PAnels 1st and 2nd Generation are different Hardware. You cannot upgrade a 1st Gen to a 2nd Gen. (only in the Project you could change the Device but a Hardwae you have to buy ) Bye Murof

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 14127 Rating: (1770)	Hello if its a comfort Panel then as ChristophD wrote Here a quick overview: since V14 -> No License for SmartServer is needed for Comfort Panels and Mobile Panels 2nd Gen. -> With Basic Panels 2nd Gen there is the Option SmartServer available (with License) since V14 SP1 -> No License for SmartServer is needed for WinCC Advanced RT Bye Murof
