Project is damaged - working with VM

Don't mean to hijack the thread but maybe my information will shed light on the problem.

Interestingly I just got that error last night while trying to open a Siemens example project.

I recall opening it in the past but I can't any more even after I downloaded a fresh copy from Siemens. I tried in TIA14 as well and got the same error I got in TIA13-SP2.

I'm using Oracle Virtualbox with 11 megabytes of memory dedicated to it.

Are you sure about the 11MB? How does the other configs look like?
Maybe it is unrelated to the VM. Did other projects fail yet?

Do you have a session stored that has the original file still? Perhaps the session was stopped or halted in an abrupt manner which caused this problem.

I unzipped the package on the host and copied the folders to the VMs and in the process not all the folders were copied. It worked when I copied the package to the guest machine and unzipped it there.

I doubt that was of much help to the OP but who knows.
