SIMATIC IPC427E Partition Ghost

Hi everyone,

I installed "PCU and IPC Base Software" and "Sinumerik Operate" in SIMATIC IPC427E which runs with TOP19 touch panel  and NCU 730. Now I want to take backup image before I install other siemens programs like Starter and Simatic Manager. I tried  "SERVİCE CENTER BACKUP-RESTORE" but no partition of the disk detected.

I can take full disk backup but there is a problem I noticed that the image is extremely big size like no compression. So I couldn't take full disk image.

I suggest you use SIMATIC Image & Partition Creator V3.5 or later. It comes with the neccessary drivers for IPC427E and will detect your partitions and drives. Furthermore it allows various compression-settings to minimize the space required for the backup.
