Hi everyone, I tried the solution but it does not work and one unregistered, you can not link it again. I found out a way to recover using external hardware : a MOSFET that will reset 5V line used to power up my faulty i2c sensor. the mosfet is triggered from IO4 linux GPIO 6 and as to be enabled via MRAA library once before acting on external i2C devices . Once it is being setup you can play with /sys/class/gpio6/value even when the i2C bus is broken but you can't use mraa api anymore as it rely on this i2c bus... Please note that according to device pinout ( similar to galileo gen2) : https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/978-1-4302-6838-3_14.pdf , you can do his with IO0 -> 5 but probably not above as multiplexer config will not be favorable. I should use strace together with mraa tool on time to discover what is really being done by this tool. regards AttachmentIntel Galileo Gen 2 IO and Muxing.pdf (115 Downloads) |
