What is SINAMICS,SIMOTION,SINUMERIK,SIMOVERT etc?

What's the difference from TIA Portal or SIMATIC Manager. How can i learn all of these. Why people using these? Where i find the info about these technologies? Sorry for many questions :) Thank you

SIMOTION - Latest digital base module controller to control different motion tasks. SINUMERIK - CNC controllers having different types of controller to control different CNC tasks. SIMOVERT - Old drive system which are used to controlled motion, speed & torque. To learn about idividual product, please refer the links under tab product support (click on Home key at top left side of screen, under drop down list you will find product support) & in Entry type field select the options like manual, or product notes or FAQ etc. etc. HTH.

TIA is not alternate to SINAMICS. Please visit below links. Sinamics is a family of drives developped by Siemens. Predecessor units were masterdrive (VC and MC) and MicroMaster. https://www.industry.usa.siemens.com/drives/us/en/electric-drives/Documents/drv-sinamics-family-brochure.pdf TIA Portal is a line of software used to program Siemens S7 PLCs, and recent HMI panels.There are Motion Control function blocks in TIA Portal, but they still require servo drive to control the motor.
