Converting data from array (BYTE) to a STRING

gdn28 Posts: 72 Rating: (8)	Hello! I have an array [1..200] of bytes. I want to take the 5th to 10 element from this array and convert it into a String. Can you please tell me what function I need to use? I am attaching a pic. The fields marked in yellow are what I would like to have as a string. please help. SOble Posts: 511 Rating: (106)	Hello AutoGen, You can convert each array element separately to a string, and than use CONCATENATE function in order to combine elements into one String. This should work for TIA and classic SIMATIC MAnager. Best Regards Soble

GerardZ Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	My method to covert an array of bytes to a string. My method using ladder logic would be to first covert the bytes (which are in HEX format) to an ASCII string. Using the HTA function. This would eliminate the pesky '$' character, which you will get sometimes. Each array would be assigned to a string variable. Following which i would use CONCAT function to add up all the string variable.
