user2 Posts: 11 Rating: (1)	A little while ago, Istarted havingtheS7kafapx error (editor crash) right after I installed SP5 to ver.5.4 I tried manythings includingremoving all other Siemens software &re-installing Step7 several times, but with the same result. By comparing the registry entries of my installation and a working installation, I found many differences. My real surprise was after I removed Step7, I found many locations in the registry still having refrences to it. So I backed up the registry and got rid of all traces of Step7 in it, and deleted STEP7 folder from ProgramFiles. After that, I installed Stap7, tested it..OK .. installed SP5.. OK.. installed HF4 .. OK. Irecommend anyone having the same error todo the same ONLY IFHE TAKES THE RISK OF PLAYING WITH THE REGISTRY. Good Luck.

The memory could not be "read". thank you
