WinCC is not logging alarm while tag triggers

You should create a Service Request and send your project to the Technical Support of Siemens for investigation. Regards Georg Berghof

Jenish Shivshakti... Posts: 49 Rating: (1)	We have solved the problem using a simulator. We have created two situations and observed the following results on WinCC. Situation 1: I observed that when in tag management when quality code is "BAD", at that time When Binary tag changes, respective change will happen in "Tag Management" & also in associated "WinCC Runtime Graphics" but associated "Alarm Logging" is not triggered. Situation 2: I observed that when in tag management when quality code is "Good", at that time When Binary tag changes, respective change will happen in "Tag Management" & also in associated "WinCC Runtime Graphics" and also associated "Alarm Logging" is also triggering.

So we have used Matrikon OPC software as IEC61850 OPC server & Anvil IEC61850 simulator for simulation of signals. We have tried the same using Cooper system's SMP 16 CP/PM as IEC61850 OPC server & Anvil IEC61850 simulator for simulation of signals.
