[Web server] Set date and time tag

Hi all, 

is it possible to set a Date_And_Time tag using a function similar at send_ajax_request, which is provided within the javascript library ajaxbase.js? 

The unique difference is the parameters, instead of:

- tag_name

- id of DOM element

it has

- tag_name

- value to set in the tag

The function is working well with tags of different data type, for DT I cannot find the right format.

you can use the functions of the"Extended instructions" of STEP 7 (TIA Portal)

Conversion from "DT" to "Date" (for the date)
Conversion from "DT" to "Int" (for the day of the week)
Conversion from "DT" to "TOD" (for the current time)

With S7-1200/S7-1500 you have direct symbolic access to the structure components of the DTL variables without having to address indirectly or program absolute addresses.

Anyway I tried for a while to change format this afternoon and I finally found the way to set that tag.

It is quite simple; probably when I tried before I hadn't all rights to write in PLC or I didn't insert the AWP statement, that is necessary to set the value of a tag.

The solution (using the send_ajax_request function, modified how I told in previous post) is:

send_ajax_request("%DB_NAME%22.TAG_NAME", "DT%23"+year+"%2D"+month+"%2D"+day+"%2D"+hours+"%3A"+minutes+"%3A"+seconds);
