Homing SINA_POS

Hi all,

I am trying to to homing procedure with my sinamic V90,

my setup is:

s7-1200

SINAMICS V90 PN V1.0

profinet communication

SINA_POS with telegram 111

the driver acts well: jog, go to position, go to home.

but in go to home mode, it does not stop.

the execution mode is 4

I configured the driver referencing mode (p29240)to mode 1: Referencing with external reference cam (signal REF) and encoder zero mark.

configure DI1 to REF (tried it also with DI2)

after executing the home procedure, the motor moves towards the sensor in DI1, and passes it without stopping.

I can see in the V assistant that DI1 has lighten up.

Axis Ref stays FALSE all the time.

I think what your describing is Referencing. Not that the signal is calling home position (or 0). So it travels across the reference looking for end of travel and then back to reference ON slowing to Off reference edge and resetting current position to position 0.

This method is used with a resolver and telegram 111. the End Of Travel sensors also wire to high speed inputs on the drive controller. for best results, but I have put them in the telegram before, if the EOT sensors are wired to the PLC.

If I'm right, you should change the symptom by modifying the direction of referencing POS_STW2.9, see if that changes the behavior of your "Go To Home" signal.

few things:

my application is a linear axis

I have no EOT sensors

the search direction can only be up, if I change it to down the motor will hit a "wall".

what I'm trying to do is to let the motor to run towards the sensor which is wired in DI1, and after that going to zero marker position.

If i'm not mistaken, changing POS_STW2.9 (p2604) from "1" to "0" will lead the search direction towards the "wall".

am I right?

Yes.

If your "Go To Home" signal is POS_STW2.1

You will have to write your own homing procedure. Go up until sensor is set (map the sensor into tele) go very slow down until it is off.

This procedure is assuming it is impossible for the axis to be above the sensor.
