I think what your describing is Referencing. Not that the signal is calling home position (or 0). So it travels across the reference looking for end of travel and then back to reference ON slowing to Off reference edge and resetting current position to position 0. This method is used with a resolver and telegram 111. the End Of Travel sensors also wire to high speed inputs on the drive controller. for best results, but I have put them in the telegram before, if the EOT sensors are wired to the PLC. If I'm right, you should change the symptom by modifying the direction of referencing POS_STW2.9, see if that changes the behavior of your "Go To Home" signal.
