How does it work with the suggestions, thank-you's, stars etc. (This is my first time getting answers in this forum)

I appreciate a lot that you have interest in the forum functions 

Here is a little description regarding suggestions, thank-you's and stars:

1. Suggestions: You click on suggestions, when you wanted to let a moderator know that a topic isn't in the right conference, is a spam-post, is a duplicate or something like that. That means in general that the suggestions are a tool to help the moderators in their daily work. So they are only visible for the moderators.
2. Regarding "thank you's" and "star":
   There are two ways to give feedback on a post - on the one hand you can use "thank-you's", on the other hand you can rate a post. The given "thank you's" are visible at the post. The given stars are anonymous. The entire star rating is the average of the ratings, which are given to the post.
