Hello sixthomas; There are ressources you can find in the forum and on the web, discussing this issue and providing solutions to export and inport DBs to csv file. For example, look at the posts from O_Einstein and Piotr.m in the following discussion: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/63900229 And this program from Sourceforge looks very interesting. Step7 Db To Excel https://sourceforge.net/projects/step7dbtoexcel/ There are more posts on the forun discussing options to export DB data to csv files, search the forum to locate them. |

OK and from Piotr : 1. do SNAPSHOT - this will take a snapahot of ALL data in the DB 2. Expand all (or needed) structures 3. copy/paste to Excel Note: there is a limitation of no of rows (I think ca 40k rows) which can be copied at any time. to copy big db you can copy structure by structure. That is not really helping, because I want to export and import
