Pcs7 process object view class messages

Hi, 

i am trying to understand how the list of class message work. Would appreciate can anyone help me or explain with examples. Thks 

1) alarm - above

2) alarm - below

3) warning - above

4) warning - below

5) tolerance - above

6) tolerance - below 

7) AS process control message - failure

8) AS process control message - error

9) OS process control message - failure

10) preventive maintenance- standard

11) process message - with acknowledgment

you can find a good description for the messages in the manual PCS 7 OS process control in the section Structure and States of Messages. And in the FAQ "What are the causes of PCS 7 control technology and system messages and what measures are to be taken to clear them? " you can find all system messages from PCS 7.

A good example for the class messages is the MonAnL from the APL.

The tolerance messages you can interpret as the value is not in the optimal working range.
By the warning messages is the value is out of the normal working range and by a alarm the value is in a critical range.
And the AS process control message is used for an external error.

You also can config your own message systems (Configuring the PCS 7 message system)
