s5-135u cpu 928b . machine working is good but some times it goes to stop mode and program in PLC getting erased

HELLO.. Here i'm using s5-135u cpu 928b . machine working is good but some times it goes to stop mode and program in PLC getting erased automatically with BASP indication led and SI2 LED .NOW I'm downloading the program whenever it goes to stop mode .After that machine will work with run mode but we can't guess the running time it may in runmode for 10 min,1 hour,some times 1 day. still now we could'nt identify the problem ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Well, that is a bit of worry if indeed true and the most probable cause are: 1.) Your backup battery in the power supply is empty (or non-existent) AND you have power supply problems (either the 135 power supply itself or the external supply to it drops of). See chapter 4 of the S5-135U System manual for more on how to check the power supply and battery 2.) If the above is not the cause, absolute memory access is the next candidate to check. Check your FB's and FX's for instructions like LIR, TIR, LNB, LNW etc. as these - if not used properly - can wreak all sorts of havoc. See chapter 9 of the 928B programming manual for more on this. |
