Festo- servo press (YJKP)- Siemens cpu1214c on Profinet

Hello,

  I am new on the TIA and Siemens programming, i want to run festo YJKP press on siemens cpu1214c, i am using TIA 15.1 

PLease help by steps.

From Festo'website, a document on YJKP communication possibilities:

From the screenshot below, you can choose either Modbus TCP or Profinet to communicate with a S7-1200, and Profinet requires a 3rd-party gateway (from Anybus).

If you choose Modbus TCP for your exchanges, study especially chapter 7 of the manual above . Festo uses Cidesys to configure the communication parameters of the YJKP, for which I cannot help you. Contact Festo support for more information.

This application example shows how to program a S7-1200 both as a Modbus TCP client and server. Use the client application to connect to your YJKP.

As an alternative you could download the Festo Step 7 function blocks for YKJP, usable with a S7-1200:
