process time with WinCC flexible 2005

michael_cros Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, I would like to know if it is easy to determinate "process time" with WinCC flexible 2005. I am working on a robotized painting line andI would like to know the time of each process (cell) with I/O and I dont know if I can do it wtih WinCC. I know I can have the state of I/O and the traceability with the differents time but I dont know how to put the time elapsedin each cell. For example, if I click on the cell 1, I would want to display the "elapsed time" in this cell. Please help me. Best regards. Michaël.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi michael, I´d prefer to calculate your processtimes on the S7-CPU and just visualize them in WinCC flexible. On the S7 you can use counter-modules,the availabenumberof countersdepends on your S7-CPU. Regards, nemo

I am goint to look for iton the web, but if you have some tutorials or documentationsabout it, Iwould be happy to have it ;) . Regards, Michaël.

michael_cros Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, My idea was : - detect with wincc a change of the state of the bit and run a counter - and a with an other change of bit state, stop the counter and so have the time of the process win WinCC Do you think, it is possibleand more easy than make some changes with SFC. ACR Regular Member Joined: 10/6/2005 Last visit: 12/14/2023 Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	hello michael, maybe i have the stuff you are needing. i wrote 2 fb's for calculating the processvalues. the output are seconds and minutes. if you still have the problem, you can get a demo-project from me. you use the fb's as multi-instances. fb xx:calculating processtime with a "start" bit fb yy:calculating prcesstime with a "start" and a "stop" bit. outputs are: seconds (int), minutes (int). send me a message, if you have still to solve the problem. best regards...
