Hello skdahfgsal; This Application Example shows how to program a simple speed control for a V90 with a S7-300, using Profinet. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109743898 Hope this helps, |

Hello skdahfgsal ; In that case, look at the DriveLib function library, it will work with S7-300 under TIA Portal v14 to v16. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109475044 The SINA_POS block should be able to control and position a V90 servo. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

I have gotten the communication working and I am able to move the drive from the plc, with your help, and the help of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT8zHc-phNI . The problem now is when I change the operating mode of the drive to operating mode 2(absolute positioning) it automatically turns off "enable Axis", when I manually turn on enable axis, the operating mode switches to mode 3. Any idea what could be causing this? thanks again. |
