Modbus Server with Unknown Number of Clients (S7-1500)

Hallo all,

I need to create a Modbus TCP communication between my PLC and a non-Siemens system.

From the examples that I have found, I need to specify the following parameters in the MB_SERVER for each different clients:

- ID

- Remote address

The question is, do I need to specify the ID and Remote address for each different clients connected to my PLC, or can I just set it to some "open" value just like with the Port?

I have no idea how many clients exactly do I have and what are their IP addresses.

The other side simply mention that there will be multiple (unknown number) of clients that will access the data from my PLC.

*Additional question:

Do I need separate MB_SERVER for each client device?
If not, do I need to program something to free the server before a new client can read from it?
