It appears that this folder was copied during installation from the folder <<...\Startdrive_V16_Update2\InstData\Patch-Generator\PatchedCU>> in the path with the installation files, also read-only. The temporary folder is called "TempCU" (path <<C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\>>, replace 'USERNAME' with your username). Delete it (or better, rename it) and restart the installation. I´ve tried also to remove the "read only" attribute, but it also didnt help. How did you restart installation? Didn´t you had the problem that TempCU folder was set again?

I´m working with VM Ware but the installation file was in the host system (access by shared folder). After copying the complete installation file to the guest system and unpacked there it was possible to install Update 1 and 2. According to the technical support it is a known issue and Update 3 shouldn´t have this problem.
