Kartik33 Posts: 22 Rating: (1)	Hi, I want to generate DO based on the signal received on AI.DO is generated as per limit set by us(If limit exceeded beyond this DO is generated. Please find the attachment for the CFC code that I have followed standard procedure to communicate between two shutdown group even though I have got error like "E: Interconnection at DI.3.S_DB: The interconnection destination does not exist. E: Interconnection at DI.5.S_DB: The interconnection destination does not exist. E: Invalid interconnection at DI.5.S_DB: Symbol "F_S_BO_DB".S_DB was changed in the symbol table. Correct the symbol table. End of code generator: 11-08-2020 13:59:09 3 error(s) and 0 warning(s) found ". Please give some solutions to remove this error. Thanks. hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 1/5/2026 Posts: 6892 Rating: (1368)	Hello, Please first make sure you created 2 different shutdown groups and then call these blocks.Read more in page 101 of this manual. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109742100 If you interconnect F-blocks in different F-shutdown groups directly (without the aboveindicated F-system blocks), a compilation error will be generated at the next compilation. If you interconnect F-blocks within a F-shutdown group with the above-indicated F-system blocks, an error message will be generated. I hope it helps, HD Hosseini

Kartik33 Posts: 22 Rating: (1)	Hi, Thanks for the reply. I have followed the step given in the manual. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109742100. As you can see in the previous attachment of my post, I have connected the S_DB output of the send block to instant DB to corresponding FB for F_S_BO and connected to the S_DB input of the associated F_R_BO. I have followed all steps as per the manual. Please give an appropriate solution for it. Regards, Kartik Patel

Possibly working more with CFC is the appropriate solution.If did all shutdown group correctly , next connect S_DB of sending block directly to the receiving block (without any intermediate memory in a DB ).
