It is one hardware interface but the PHY behind provides two different interfaces. I know the designation is misleading, I was asking the same question. But at the end there are two seperated interfaces you can use. Best regards!

If it is possible theoretically.. I don't know, would have to clarify this. Maybe bridging the two interfaces is an option, but I haven't tried this. Best regards!
