Hi Experts,

I am using s7200-cpu with cp card(DP), another side i am using CP5611 in my operating station windows xp and wincc v6.0  to communicate. i can successfully download, upload and online project in micro win v4.0. but when i want to design HMI using wincc connection not working.

so i have following questions

1) is this possible to communicate s7200 with wincc using profibus protocol without OPC(S7-200 pc access)??

2)i need any other channel driver which can show CP5611 protocol in tag management of wincc??

This FAQ discusses the different options to exchange data between a S7-200 CPU and WinCC. These include OPC, with PC Access software, Modbus (RTU) with Simatic Net OPC server and Profibus-DP.

The recommended option is OPC and PC Access, over MPI/PPI, which you can achieve with your CP 5611.
