Simatic Field PG could not Reboot

Norm.maint Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi There, My PG could not reboot at all. I'm suspecting there is power supply problem. It could not run under full battery poweredor even with AC Adapter hook-on. With the AC Adapter I could see the battery signal lamp "on"in green then it turn orange after some time(might be full charge) but soon after I push the "power on" button, the battery signal lamp turn off suddenly. When I released the button then it lit again in green then orange after certain time. I have checked the DC output from the AC Adapter is 16VDC as per the specification. What can I do more?

Norm.maint Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear All. Thanks for the reply and readings. Actually the symptom is the PG could not "ON" at all. Dismantle the keypad cover and seen steel clip were detach from their places and one of them stuck in between the PCB. Might be DC supply voltage drop due to short circuit to ground. Remove the steel clip and Power on then it's ok. Thanks to Siemens Engineer. Consider Case Closed. Thanks again
