Hi, you missunderstand the XMT instruction. Basically you instruction: .... XMT VB100, 0 is right but VB100 ´must include string information. This means in your case VB100 must contain the numbers of ASCII charackters you want to send. In your case you want to send a single charackter "M". So "M" must be in VB101 and VB100 must contain 1. Here two examples. Have a look to the MW projects for mopre details: This are very old examples not using the RCV instruction to receive charackters but still works fine.
