Use the 135U central unit as an expansion unit?

We have to connect a S5135U to a S7400 with a 463-2 connection.

To do this, we want to convert the central device into an expansion device.

Can someone tell me if this is possible and if so how.

I would appreciate an answer.

Using the IM 463-2 in the S7-400 you can connect S5 EU 183 or 184 (expansion racks) that do not accept a CPU on board, but requires an IM 314.

You can install digital and analog modules on the EU 183, and additional CPs in the EU 184 with a IM 314, but no CPU. So all the logic for the I/Os in the S5 expansion units must be reprogrammed in the S7-400.
