Hi, you should use the preinstalled NodeJS (also 8.x), because it is patched for the IOT2040. And you cannot work with node-red-contrib-s7 version 3.x.x, it only supports NodeJS 10. The version 3 of the node will crash once it is connected to the PLC, but you are not that far... I don't get your network completely. What IP addresses does your PC have? And is one interface of the PC connected to the IOT and another interface of your PC connected to your PLC? You need to connect your PLC to the X1 interface of the IOT as well, otherwise it is not possible to get a connection from IOT to PLC. If you want the IOT to communicate with the PC and the PLC via X1 (192.168.200.1) you need a switch. EDIT: It would be helpful if you could create a small drawing how your network currently looks Best regards! |
