0BA8 vs 0BA7 - what is "ck"?

markheuer Posts: 158 Rating: (1)	I have been working on a program that I've been sending to a 0BA7 plc for weeks. A decision was made to use the 0BA8, so I merely switched the hardware type in the LOGOSoft to 0BA8. i'm using version 8.0 LSC. I want to be able to put this program on either, but when I try to change back to 0BA7, I get a message saying "ck name exceeds 8 characters, unable to change to lower hardware versions" I'm assuming 'ck' means check? I don't have any blocks with names over 8 char. and don't know what else ck could mean. Also, if I set a counter to count with no reset, does it hold the count indefinitely, or only until the volatile memory expires (days?) with no power?

If the counter is set to retentivity, the counter status remains until the counter is reset or a program change is transmitted. If retentivity the count is written to flash Memory.

It's T033 "INDARMFLSH". INDARMFLSH has 10 characters, 2 too much. Attachment INDARMFLSH.png (82 Downloads)
