gre_m Posts: 947 Rating: (45)	1. Check out - whether you have cold junction compensation. If compensation is external, then whether it is connected? 2. when you connect instead of the realthermocouple potentiometer, the given voltage should be reduced to the cold junction voltage.

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 9/10/2024 Posts: 6849 Rating: (1365)	Hello If you can use all route from TC to PLC AI card ,the same material which is used in TC this will eliminate the error,for this case internal compensation suffices. But please check it would be a trade off between cost of changing all wiring and the needed accuracy! (TC card is6ES7 331-7PF11-0AB0) Best regards
