100% redundant PLC system

hi guys i have requirement of 100% redundant PLC system, in Which about 60 to 70 PID controls are required, Now i dont know that which PLC system has to be implements for this project ie s7- 300/400/1500.

Also i have doubt that "IS THERE ANY MODEL OF S7-1500 WITH 100% REDUNDANCY?", if not then which PLC i need to use where total Power tags are under 400 numbers.

in s7-1500 there is no any option or cpu which supports redundancy, in recent years s7-1500 plc will developed as hot redundant plc.

as per your requirement you need 100% redundant means if you are going for software redundancy then you can use S7-300 PLC system, but s7-300 is not hot redundant & swapping will be with missing 1 opr more scan cycles/ you cannot get bump-less transfer.for supporting 60-70 PID loops i think higher than CPU-315-2 DP CPU's will support for same. 

If you want bump-less transfer then you need to go with S7-400H hot redundant PLC series, in any CPU in this series will support for 60-70 PID loops easily & you will get bump-less redundant connection with hot swapping of I/Os also. 2 hot standby Controllers are connected with each other via fiber -optic cable so you can get hot connectivity with bump-less transfer.

100% redundancy (High-availability, fault-tolerance, hot-swap...) is only available with S7-400H CPUs, in the Siemens world at the moment. There have been rumors that the S7-1500 will eventually offer some form of redundancy, but they are not there yet.
