120202 Waiting for a connection to the NC/PLC

cypjim Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I have a Sinumerik 840D Serial Number SVPVN002446. We had a power failure of the building while the machine was on. After the power was restored we cannot get the machine to switch on and the above message shows. Can you explain to me step by step on how to clear the NC and PLC and how to restore these files. I have them in the archives. The board shows three vertical lights, top is green on , centre is amber blinking, and bottom is red on.

cypjim Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have reset the Switch 4 for the PLC as instructed and 120202 has disappeared but I get the following alarms now : 810004 Stop/Abort event, error analysis via step 7 required 4060 Standard machine data loaded (00000004H,) 2102 NCK Battery alarm 2101 NCK Battery alarm 2001 PLC has not started up Can you help me with clearing these alarms thanks

MNR Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Dear Cypjim, In order to proceed further , you have to change the NCK battery first. After changing the battery, please clear NC & PLC and reload the NC/PLC archive. with this your problem should be solved MNR

cypjim Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I have replaced the battery and the LEDs on the NCU seem correct. The number 6 shows and the two top green lights are on. The error "2001 PLC has not started up" now shows. I tried to reload the NC and PLC files from the archives but I get a message "Job was terminated with error". What do I need to do?
