I have a network with 3 x 6ES7 151-8AB01-0AB0 units.

Connection is over Ethernet on same subnet.

I want one unit to request/receive data from the two other units. The data is in approximately 24 different Instance DBs (8bits in each) in each PLC.

Can you please point me in the direction of the best method for setting up the comms? Also would like to know the correct blocks to be using. (it seems using the GET block only allows one DB per block?)

In my opinion, the easiest way is to establish an IDevice-communication. One of the CPU is an IO-controller and the other two are connected over Profinet as IO-device. They are communicating over the cyclic IO. See this application sample and manual:

You can also establish S7-connections between the CPUs and make the communication over PUT/GET. there is also an application sample.(The IM151 is working like a S7-300)
