Convert STL to SCL ( or Ladder )

Hello,

i have used in S71500 an FB written in STL.

Now i want to use it in S71200, so i have to translate it to SCL.

Is there any easy way ?

Could someone help with a conversion tool maybe ?

There is no tool like this I do not think. See the same discussion here:

Maybe you could consider rewriting the code in SCL. It is not a big code and what you will find in SCL, that the code is even simpler.

If you specific question about how to reimplement certain code elements please come and ask.

Your present - SCL code - is attached to this message.

It is up to you to test it and see if it is correct. I suggest loading the FB to run along with the original STL one and see if the SCL version follows the STL version.

I imported it successfully, but during compilation shows an error as attached : 

Character string is too long.

Could you check it ?

Change the AUTHOR: DanPadric to AUTHOR: dP or DPadric or something similar in the 3rd line of the SCL file.

The max # of characters in the author block is apparently 8.  DanPadric is 9.
