1Ph to 3ph and 3ph to 3ph drive

I have some basic doubts about drive configuration and working..

I have noticed in application, where used 1ph incoming and 3ph outgoing motor and 3Ph incoming and 3 ph outgoing drives.

What is the functional characteristics differences on these type of motors? Is there is any torque and speed variation occurs?

What is the difference in using 3ph 230 and 3Ph 415 as incoming and  3ph 230 and 3Ph 415 Output ?
