I am using S7 1212c PLC Connected to IM151-3 PN(6ES7 151-3AA23-0AB0) with 1SI module (6ES7 138-4DF01-0AB0) in Profinet Network

Is there any instructions for the 1200 PLC like the library for the 1500 cpu?

Your module is a RS comm module so I assume you need help for using the 232-485-422 communication through that card.

He has the IM151 in Profinetm so he is commanding it with PN.

And he needs a guide on how using the exotic RS232-485, card that is contained in the IM151 rack that he has...

If he needs tips on how to make the comm between the IM151 and PLC well, that's another thing... Let's see what he writes

To clarify.

PLC are a 1212c connected to a distributed IO IM151-3 PN over profinet with a 1SI (3964/ASCII) module where setup are RS232 protocol.

Are there any functionblock/library for the 1200 series like there is to the 1500 series?

So as per Mr.Davinator instruction, add CM RS232 to CPU1212c and use the given link to establish the communication.

but sry I don't really still don't know exactly, what kind of communication mr. KentJaeger want create. Mr. Davinator give info about Modbus, but this can be not true. Mr. kentJaeger, pls post clearly what type of communication you want prepare? Post info about library isn't enough, because thre's also user communication, not only Modbus, so this is important for first. I think, that if mr. Jaeger want prepare only user communication, that module can be used. So better will b next time post more clear question, because then we can post here lot of posts that not help.
