When you use a server / client configuration, and want to select a tag you will see the tags also that are listed within the server package that is created. - did you create a server package? Don't delete them. Just answer the questions, then we can see why you have them. with regards, Ikkezelf

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, Don't delete them. If for example you are developing on a client pc and are within e.g. the graphic designer. You can for example connect a tag to an object. You can do this by entering the tag's name by hand or select it by the 'tag selection' tool. If you use this selection tool, you can open the tags that are preceeded with the server prefix. This Server prefix will then also be entered in the object property. Like ServerPrefix@TagName. It's normal for tags that are listed on a server that also has a server package. From out of the client you could see them double, but then you should also see the external tags. So, right now I'm not sure. You could create a backup of your project, then delete those tags, and see if everything still works as expected. This package is a single .PCK file and it contains a list of all tags, pictures, alarms and archive tags from the project. Its purpose is to allow clients to work correctly. It is generated either by a) the Server Data Editor in the WinCC Explorer or; b) When you run the Compile OS Wizard in Simatic Manager. The package is a snapshot of your project at that time. So in your case, I assume that this package was generated early on and since then you have created external tags. I hope this is clear. If not, just ask.

The tags look like they have been generated from a server data package and then re-created within the project - something that should never happen ! What version of WinCC are you running?
