2 PG Ports On S5 135U 928B CPU

WillScott Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using the 2nd comms port on the above as another PG port. This port is being used for comms to a HMI. Where can I find infomation to the limitations of its use. Things are working pretty well, however, if I use the original port with a PG programmer, sometimes the 2nd port hangs up ?? For instance, when inBlock Status, if I am looking at a block that is not being processed. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Will Scott.

Well there are some restrictions on operating two PG Ports in parallel. I have attached an extract from Manual of CPU 928B which gives details of the same.
