Your TP 1200 HMIs, are you using the Unified or the previous method of configuring and loading the HMIs?

If you are having trouble and it's Unified, perhaps you need to report it to Siemens via Support Request, Create new request.

In the meantime, might I suggest installing the latest PLC firmware, V17 portal update including WinCC, and then updating panel images.

Then update your panel with the latest V17 panel image, update PLC with latest firmware, and recompile rebuild all hardware, and software rebuild all before downloading to the PLC.

Why is your PLC going to stop mode?  What's in the diag buffer for the reason it is going to stop mode?

Does your PLC program have OB82 Diagnostics Error Interrupt OB (at a minimum) with some logic to capture and save the diagnostics data so it _could_ be handled by the PLC logic elsewhere if appropriate for your system?

Hello to all of you

We are running two TP 1200 Comfort displays with ProDiag license with a PLC 1517F-3PN V2.9.

The problem is that if the CPU goes to Stop and we start it up the displays stop communicating. The only way to start them is to load the HMI program again.

The screens are quite loaded with respect to the memory (10Mb/12Mb). We have the firmware of the displays in V17.0.0.0.0. The project is in TIA V17 too.

We don't know what could be the origin of the problem. We have two theories:

1.- The memory is too full.
2.- The connection from the PLC to the screens is wrongly defined, they have to be synchronised.

Which Version do you use exactly in TIA Portal ?

There is an Upd5 for V17 available.

also you should have installed the WinCC Panel images already on your system (DVD3) then you should also install the latest Update package for the Panel images from:

Then you should have a Image V17.0.0.5 on your Comfort Panel.
