Would it not be best to do this on your PLC? Perhaps..

..or even use on VW523 also in the place where VW525 is used?

I mean, the user wants to force current alternately the variables VW523 or VW525 show the same I / O field. If he only wants to show the values and do not want to change on the I / O field, then in my opinion the easiest to switch the values in the logo by analog multiplexer and only one variable for HMI would send.

For the helpers I always see the biggest problem are often given no precise information the questioner. So you have to guess again:
