20005 encoder axis

vickysiemens Posts: 53 Rating: (1)	Dear Experts, I have visited site in which customer have simotion controller with 1 ALM and 5 MOMO in servo configuration. The machine is cutter machine in which first two servo drive is used as axis 1 and axis 2.... Problem is in Axis one drive which is tripped and show code 20005 Encoder Axis alarm i have search this alaram in list manual but i didnt find it. as per cusotmer axis 1 drive take around 100 A per current for momentry and drive tripped on above mention code. can any one explain is it fault or else what is encoder axis alarm where can i find it in manual ??? remedy of it.. waiting for your reply Regards, Vivek

The SIMOTION Alarms described here. The 20005 means that there is anything not ok with the device which is projected on the adress which is in the faultvalue of 20005. please also check the sinamics faults, normaly when the 20005 occurrs there are other faultsbefore in the drive which is assigned to this axis.
