Problems with Analog Input 2 wires

Hello everybody,

This is the first time that I post here, so sorry on advantage for my english and the possible incorrections.

I have a Analog Input of 2wires, (6ES7 134-4GD00-0AB0) where I connect the output (4-20ma) of a porcentual valve but the signal the value that I receive is wrong (typical wrong value 32567) so I know that the Valve is active but Im not sure if my Analog Input is also active and maybe thats the problem.

Anyone could tell me if it's active or passive? And if its active, Could someone tell me what kind of Analog Input I should use to read correctly the value?

Yes I do! For example I open the valve at 50% and I receive in the output with the multimeter 12mA, so it seems right.

Here is the electric Diagram, the output from the valve are the outputs 23 and 24, and the input in the PLC is the PEW348, connection between 5 and 6.

And what happens when you disconnect wires from terminals 5 & 6?

Also pls show us configuration of this channel in HWConfig. (I don't know if there's anything but I'd be good to see it)

In the hardware configuration you already selected current input?

Sorry just realized that is 4-20mA module. The value you are receiving is complete wire break or no signal value. You need to ensure your termination is correct. Most probably you can interchange the wires and check.

Please if you see carefully, I connect the AO from the valve to my AI in the PLC, because you are right, I want to read the feedback, but thats the way that it have to be, AO from valve to my AI. For example, I connect my AO from the PLC to the AI from the Valve to control it and it works without problem. But not to read the feedback.

Im going to send you just the diagram of the valve so you can see.

We are close about module configuration. Double click the module in WHConfig you marked and show its configuration.

Coming to other possibilities.

You can try to replace a base unit of the module.

Or if you have a current source, connect  it to terminals 5 & 6 instead the feedback from the valve.

It have the same out of range value. Also I tried to replace the AI, for a new one but nothing.
