Logo Access tool and Historical Data

Diarmad Member Joined: 7/14/2016 Last visit: 12/15/2021 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, I use the logo (Siemens 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA0 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA0) and save 2 analog data, 1 digital byte and time. I know that I can use Soft Comfort and download this data, but the customer wants to read it without Soft Comfort. I read the Access Tool manual and made the * .csv file to read this data. The disadvantage of this solution is that the Excel file must still work and read data "online". When I set up the connection in the access tool, I have the "historical data" option but I don't know how to use it. There is nothing in the manual about access to older data. Even when I can get the last 50 readings, that's enough for me, but how do I do it? I want to open Excel, start reading and get the last 50-60 readings that the logo stores on the SD card. It is possible? Thanks for every advice.

The LOGO! does not have a time archive, and only current data can be accessed from the Access Tool. The LOGO! no time stamps deposited. For your problem you must use e.g. a HMI (e.g. KTP400 or so). Edit: And you can't access the SD card with the Access Tool. This is only possible with LSC or, if the SD card is removed, on the PC.

No way to do any script in web server to send data from SD card to PC with ethernet acces ? In othetwise i must find other solution than Logo! to this project...

You can also use a PC to continuously record the required data with the Excel Add-In. However, the PC must be switched on for 7 days / 24 hours. Then a CSV file can be created on the PC with the Access Tool. Read the help file of the Access Tool. Whether it is possible to use a script to read the data log from the SD card in the LOGO!? I don't know, I'm not a software programmer. And I don't think you can find the right solution to your problem with a comparable logic modul.

For logfile, Logo Access tool can record the live data into a logfile.csv in the background. So you can see history data by looking for .csv file in your PC some folder. You can use any database software to open it. I think Excel could open them and can make graphs as you need. I have read how to do it from Logo Access Tool Manual PDF file. Attachment LOGO!
