Siemens PLC Sim advanced doesn't work - The input must not exceed a maximum of 0 characters'

I reinstalled the software, and I installed version 3.0 and version 4.0. Both of them doesn't work. Can anybody help me?

It doesn't say "Instance number", it says "Instance name' after all. Siemens is (at least to me) trying to hint what type of data is expected. James_Peter I can't create an instance on the PLCSim Advanced because 'The input must not exceed a maximum of 0 characters'. I reinstalled the software, and I installed version 3.0 and version 4.0. Both of them doesn't work. Can anybody help me?

Please open PLCSIM Advanced and close all running instances. Then, click on the small box next to Virtual Memory Card and change the path to: " Siemens\Simatic\Simulation\Runtime\Persistence " Does this help?
