The LOGO! with the order number 6ED1052-1FB00-0BA8 isn't a SIPLUS LOGO!. The SIPLUS version has the order number 6AG1052-1FB08-7BA0. See here: 6AG1052-1FB08-7BA0 This both LOGO!s supports Ethernent TCP/IP with the S7 protocol and also Modbus TCP/IP. Not supported are Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII. |

The combination of order number and firmware version you named doesn’t exist. For Modbus TCP you need at least *08-0ba0. This has then a firmware version V1.81.01 or higher. It’s not possible to update firmware of a LOGO! 8.0 (*08-0ba0) at all. |

Sorry, that's not correct. LOGO!s with the order number 6ED1052-XXXXX-0BA8 and a firmware version V1.81.01 or higher supported Modbus TCP. The LOGO!s of the 1. generation (0BA8.Standard or LOGO! 8.0) and LOGO!s of the 2. generation (LOGO!8.FS4 or LOGO! 8.1) had the same order number, which led to a great deal of confusion at the time. They differ in the FS status and the firmware version. AttachmentVersions of 0BA8.txt (951 Downloads) |

Thanks a lot for your responses! I made the Modbus communication via Virtuino IoT app. |
