PCS7,CIS_CK,password protected faceplate related

Krish g Regular Member Joined: 5/12/2009 Last visit: 6/14/2022 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am working on a project inPCS7 V7.0using CIS_CK library.In this faceplate is generated and can be view by just clicking on the icon.From faceplate we can select AUTO/MANUAL or START/STOP. In my project few equipments are critical and client is asking for password protected faceplate for these equipments such that only authorise people can access it. Please help me......

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Dear Krish g, Open the pcs7elements.pdl and there you find some thing called "permission but". U should use this to set permission flow to your "auto/manual"and "start/stop". Usually the permission flow is from Level 5 or Level 6 ---> Permission Bit ---> "auto/Manual" button operation. For the permission bits you have to make sure of "Level Source", "Level Target" and "Target Bedienfreig". U may try to open the standard faceplate "@pg_motor_standard.pdl" and check for the permission flow. It is from the "Level 5" --> permission manual --> manual button operation --> permission auto --> auto button operation--> so on..... By this we make sure that users who are previliged under "level 5" will be authorized to operate the above buttons . Regards Nil
