300402 System error in drive link

UglyAmerican Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I am new at the forum. Hope I don't brake any rules or protocols by speaking straight to the subject. I have a grinding machine on which like 5 months ago replaced the NCU. Now it is showing these alarms which can only be decoded by Siemens A&D and will pinpoint to the faulty hardware piece (which I think lies within the NCU and it is related to the 611D bus, perhaps the EIA-485 bus driver ICs). I Replaced the COM daughter board (not shure if COM stands for COMmunications, or if it handles ALL coms or just MPI/OPI/DP etc.). Either way, it still faults. Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello, Just for your information that you can give a try of replacing with (573.3) there is no harware by name574.2 ...you need to reconfigure Step 7 because the hardware PLC Cpus are different. What is the indication observed in the NCU card when you have these errors. If you just clear you nc and check are you getting these alarms that before loading your arc backups. Iferrors are there then you can give try checking the 611D Control card try replacing one by one and check. Then nothing works out replace the NCU card and check. With Regards, Prakash

Some how a false contact in the UVW terminals caused the motor to burn, then the LT modul was replaced as well as the spindle, but we did not replace the E/R modul, though! So then we got those alarm messages. Then we replaced the E/R module and 'vóila'! Thanks for your help!

Aimon Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I had same as these errors (300500, 300300) and they was totall fixed when the power module was replaced. Please tell me how did you fix the error 300402 Did you understand the meaning of its codes??
